4.5ish. Still love this series and the characters, I'm so intrigued now because this set a more mysterious tone with the backstory of the camp and such.

My favorite volume so far! Love the mystery still surrounding Abigail/Rosie/Bear Woman and the Lumberjanes.

Lumberjanes continues to be everything. Grootslang? Come on, that's genius. Rosie and Abigail's backstory is fascinating. I love LJ.

One confusing bit: Did we know Jo's a tall girl before this book? Did I miss it or forget about it? 🤔

Not my favourite in the series so far but an enjoyable read.

My favourite so far. Great backstories, awesome characters, super cute kitten thrown in for good measure. All the cover art at the end is a great way to end a volume, too.

Yay! No more weird art style like the last volume. This one also had a better storyline which was nice. Here’s hoping the rest of the are like this one.

Wow! This volume was so great I'm completely floored! I wasn't expecting to get into more complex character relations but it sure did and I absolutely loved it! Getting to know more about the Lumberjanes Camp as an institution as well as diving a bit into Rosie's backstory was something I'd bee wanting for a while, and the addition of Abigail was just!! so good!! She felt like a very nuanced character and I don't think we've seen the last of her. I also really liked Jo and Barney's conflict and eventual resolution as well as Jen's bigger role in the story! The character writing in this volume was just so good overall and the art as lovely as always.
adventurous medium-paced

I continue to enjoy the diversity and ambiguity of the characters as well as the ambiguity of the camp's mystery.
