I read this because a friend had leant it to me and I saw a movie was coming out. I like to read the writing before seeing any adaptation. I wasn’t prepared for how it would pull me in and break my heart. A well written documentation of the mass murder of the Oklahoma Osage. Really. Your heart will ache.
