When reading any book authored (or co-authored) by Greg Mills you know exactly what you're letting yourself in for - a book that will be unashamedly pro-business and pro getting government out of the economy as much as possible. Despite my ideological differences with Herbst and Mills, they do highlight a number of salient points and examples about the way that the South African economy works. You also have to admire the range of opinions and interviews they conducted for the writing of this book. On that basis alone, whether you agree with them ideologically or not, this book is worthwhile reading.
