Reread with family. Had not read this in 35 years, and I did not remember any of it, except: we must we must, we must increase our bust. Very cute and such a blast from the past.
I reread this (for what? the 10th time?) with my daughter. We read the book out loud to each other, and I loved it just as much this time as I had every other time. In fact, I loved it more because it was such an amazing book to share with my 12-year-old. Now to think what book we should read together next!

It was like being transported back to 5th grade on the day I wore a pink training bra under a white shirt and learned that it’s a tough world for growing girls.
I wanted to see the Rachel McAdams film adaptation earlier this year, but decided I should read it first when it suddenly appeared in my Little Free Library. Meant to be!
It's a very cute read. I knew the gist of it from seeing the movie trailer, but didn't realize Margaret exploring religion was such a big part. The ending was a little odd to me, but I think pacing for a YA book is just different.
Realized that I think this is the first Judy Bloom book I've ever read! I'm likely to pick up another in the future after this.

It was nice. Obviously I would have enjoyed it more if I was 10-12 years old, but I know if I were still a kid I would have found Margaret to be very relatable.
