A great read. Easy to get into and follow, but still had you turning pages quickly to see what's next. Every family is messy in its own way, loved seeing it play out in a family who each wanted what's best for the other. Solid 4-stars.
I loved this book so much! I loved the big Irish family, that they owned a local pub. I loved how they always had each other’s back. I loved the old loves and even the twist thrown in. Such a great read!

3.5...it was good. Easy to read, flew through it in just a few hours.
This was such a heartwarming story about family struggles. I really enjoyed all of the characters and how they developed and rallied around one another. Definitely a great comfort read.

Loved this book, read it in less than a day. Would have been 5 stars but I wanted more from the ending.
We Are The Brennans has been pretty popular on Bookstagram, but for me it was a bit boring. It is a family drama focused on an Irish American family and the circumstances around when the daughter, Sunday, left and moved away, now that she has returned. The story is told from multiple characters’ viewpoints, but to me they all sounded the same. I didn’t like or care about any of the characters, except for maybe one. There was a lot of victim blaming in this book and I’m not sure anyone ever said “it wasn’t your fault,” which needed to be said. Also, I found the ending to be predictable. However, if you enjoy character driven family dramas, you may like this one more than I did.
