I can't say I didn't like this book, but it wasn't my typical genre. It was a book about dysfunctional family drama, about keeping secrets and about forgiveness to overcome each person's flaws and stick together as family. There were a few surprises in the book and it is a worthwhile read. I will read this author again.
WOW WOW WOW this was my favorite book that I read in July and I truly did not want it to end. The writing in this book was so incredibly unique and that easily made it such a binge able book. Each chapter starts where the one before it left off and it just felt like they were passing the camera around. The family drama in this was so well done and relatable because it was mixed together with secrets, love, and a lot of tough topics. The main premise of the story follows Sunday who gets in a terrible accident and has to head home to the life she left 5 years ago and how she has to find her place again in a family who needs her just as much as she needs them. The secrets begin to unravel and the closeness of this family is tested in order to protect and save one another! I truly fell in love with each of these characters and wanted to keep reading but at only 288 pages it felt like the perfect length!
I gave it more than the college try but after 25% not enough holds my interest.
muito longo (não ironicamente, teve muita coisa redundante/repetitiva), mas eu me diverti lendo, é legal

Lovely story about a tight knight family going through struggles and triumphs together. It shows how much family can help us, but also hurt us so deeply at the same time - yet, all of that hurt doesn’t stop them from coming back together.
Really loved how we got perspective from all of the characters (Vivienne’s was unnecessary imo) and enjoyed how each chapter started with a quote said at the end of the last one. In my mind that was a really interest way to tie the story and characters together
