This is a nice book, with all the right family drama. The Brennan is an Irish-American Family with a great bond and some secrets. When Sunday Brenan returned back to her family in New York after an accident in LA, a lot has changed in those 5 years, but she is determined to put her life together.
There are quite a number of characters in the story, and every character has got their right share of role in the story, to me no character has been seen out of place. The multiple pov is what I liked about the story most. and no chapter at any point gets boring, in fact, each chapter ends with some new secret or revelations.

Now talking about the characters:

This story follows the four Irish-Catholic Brennan siblings and their aging father, Mickey. Sunday, who is the only girl, returns to their east coast town after five years estranged and begins to rebuild her life.
Her abrupt departure from their family left her three brothers and the love of her life reeling, and a lot has changed since she deuced outta there.

So, basically, this book is a family drama, which I love, right? Except that the “drama” within this family was kind of ... lacking? Like, I really liked all of the characters, and I thought they were well written and fleshed out, but it was kind of hard for me to feel sorry for them and their issues because they just weren’t dramatic enough.

That said, I truly did like the characters, and I liked even more the different relationships they all had with each other. I also liked the way Tracey Lange seamlessly wove flashbacks in with present-day happenings that added to the story. So, all-in-all, while I was underwhelmed by the drama, I still liked the book and will be checking out her latest novels soon.

great quick read, family drama was intense but not too intense and i loved the irish vibes

I really enjoyed the book and the plot line through all the family’s secrets. I would have really liked to tell Maura Brennan a thing or two about what it means to be a good mother.

I enjoyed reading this book, but I don't think it's one that's going to stick with me for long. A year or two from now I'm guessing I won't remember many (or any) details. Still, I enjoyed reading it.

Loved this one!

DID NOT FINISH: 18%

I was about two hours in and suspected that I had about eight more of the same thing. After reading some reviews, I confirmed my suspicions. I was bored.
