it is absolutely impossible to read this without being a little in too deep in the bangtan universe. and still I have a few problems with this.

it brings clarity to a lot of plot points in the hole HYYH story but it's still confusing and hard to follow. the characters and their stories kinda mesh together as there isn't a lot of work trying to make them people. the writing is interesting even if I feel like the main goal of this book is to give insight and not be a lot more than that.

it's kinda a bummer of a story and I really hope things start looking brighter because I am S A D now

i am going to shamelessly say that this rating is absolutely biased as an army and this book absolutely kills me w/ all the throwback to all the bangtan visuals

Ok, so I am not the most unbiased rater here, because to begin with I am an army. The writing honestly is not the best and the flow is really haphazardly done since it is mostly a collection of the notes. Could be the loss in translation, maybe the Korean text describes the story more beautifully. But just the storyline is so impactful for me, and it makes me remember so much visuals from the bts videos, wings short films and highlight reels which really sometimes gives me the shivers. It really is a beautiful story of 7 boys all so flawed but when they are together they have the most beautiful friendship. I am still waiting for the save me part two and a continuation of the notes found in MOTS7. And they are planning a kdrama too! I wouldn't recommend this to a non bts fan though since this is too deep a storyline. I do enjoy it when fans theorize what happens next. :-)

“people always said so easily that we need to overcome our wounds, embrace them, and accept them as part of our lives. that we need to reconcile with and forgive others to go on living. it wasn’t that i didn’t want to give it a try. but giving it a try didn’t guarantee success. no one had taught me how. the world gave us new wounds even before the old ones could heal. surely, no one in the world can avoid getting hurt. i was aware of that. but do we really need to get hurt this deeply? for what?”

daría mi vida para que todos fueran felices <\3
