This read, much like the house Deanna and Wyatt renovate is charmingly sweet, with pockets of delight to be found. As with all reads involving Joan's kids, you end up just loving the kid. Wyatt is just a massive sweetheart, who when he believes in folks believes. And that belief is just what Deanna needs. Deanna is building her life back up from a "foolish" choice - per her parents, who just really needed to be smacked upside the head - and the renovation of the house sets her on the way. The team that D and W make, the way they not only rebuilt the house but each other makes this read utterly soothing and a balm for your romantic heart - amped up by the moments with Scott and Joan's other kids.

I loved Wyatt and Deanna's story. I felt like I was watching a home makeover show and reading sizzling chemistry at the same time. Such a fun read.

After an especially stressful day that included dealing with her most difficult celebrity client as well as a run-in with her awful ex-husband, music publicist Deanna James spent the evening drowning her sorrows with her best friend Bennet. She woke up the next day to find that she had drunkenly spent her entire savings to purchase a house in an online auction. Deanna had always dreamed of fixing up a historic home, but not quite like this! With no money left for the renovations needed to make the house habitable, Deanna was at her wit's end until a chance encounter with Wyatt Sullivan, house flipper and host of YouTube home improvement show DIWyatt, presented her with an opportunity: Wyatt's help with the renovations in exchange for Deanna's PR expertise in building his brand in order for him to convince a major TV network to pick up his show. The only catch? Both Wyatt and Deanna would need to move into the house during construction to save money, making it difficult to resist her attraction to the handsome handyman.
Deanna and Wyatt were both incredibly likeable, relatable characters, and I loved how they supported and encouraged each other, especially Wyatt with Deanna's passion for design. He recognized her innate talent and believed in her even when she didn't believe in herself. Their relationship was definitely a slow burn, and while they didn't seem to have much in common at first, they ended up being more alike than they realized. Aside from their shared passion for historic homes, Wyatt and Deanna both had difficult relationships with their parents. They had to work through those issues from the past before they were ready to build a future together.
Overall, I loved "Don't You Wanna Stay" and highly recommend it for all contemporary romance readers. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Another great story from Kait Nolan. I really liked Wyatt and Deanna's story. I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is sizzling and I loved the characters. They are pretty well-written. I did not see that twist coming. But I loved it all the same. It's perfect for their story. Such a cute and heartwarming story!
Where can I find a DIWyatt? Deanna James sure lucked out when she needed help and Wyatt Sullivan was right there. Agreeing to reno her money pit, which Deanna bought sight unseen, in exchange for PR expertise to grow his brand, it seemed like Wyatt hit the jackpot. The undercurrent of attraction only added to the intrigue and interest in the DIY rehab on Deanna’s house. Their chemistry and mutual attraction were sizzling from the beginning. I loved how the foster siblings banded together to help each other and the reconciliation that Deanna and Wyatt both had with their respective parents. This series is just as heartwarming as the Misfit Inn.
