the author made some really weird choices. I felt disconnected from the characters and story almost the entire time I was reading. what it comes down to is this author lacked the experience to pull off a story like this and I wish she’d kept to a simpler plot and storyline.

I'd like to think that I wouldn't hate this as much if I didn't have to spend so much time trying to read around glaring typographical errors, but really this is just not great. Bad dialogue, terrible characters, awful ending. A good time was had by none. For real.
