I didn’t realize this series had 6 books, I thought there were only 4. I was so sad we didn’t get to find out Grace and Hudson’s story. Anyways, I gave it 4/5 stars because it def delivered on the romance, emotional growth, and shadowy vibes - but it could’ve been a bit tighter and more impactful plot-wise. Still, it’s a must-read for Crave fans and a deeply satisfying emotional detour that’s gives Hudson and Grace the depth they truly deserved.

**This is almost exclusively Grace and Hudson’s story. Think backfill novella rather than a continuation from book 4 of the series.

This one wasnt as bad as Court but it was still ridiculously long. However, the ending? If this was the final book i would have rated it a whole star higher but no we have to go back again because Smokey the cat ( who I love btw) is in the Shadow realm. He died Grace.... and you want to go back to the scary place that you spent 2 years of your life trapped in?

I was really hoping the backstory of Grace being stuck would be more intense then what actually happened. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty intense but I feel like since the reader already knows that they successfully get out, every event just wasn't suspenseful.

I don’t hate this book. I have tried this series twice and by the time I finish court I am very excited to continue. Then I hit this book and basically hit a brick wall of interest. I like the characters I just am not super interested in this story.
