I really enjoyed the end of this series. It did a great job of having some twists, tying all the stories together, and developing the characters well. The end did make me feel like there could be another book even though it says everywhere that it is the final book. I'm interested to try some of Donnelly's other series or books.

It was super good. Not sure how I feel about the end of the book. It has the possibility of a sequel series, or book. It was amazing to see the growth all of the characters went through. With many plot twists, and risky plans, the Merls are at it again in one wave of a finale.

So overall this was a really good book! I know a lot of others were complaining about certain characters being alive at the end, but I am glad that overall there was a happy ending because I honestly wanted a book with a happy ending this time. I would like to give it a 4.5 if I could. There were parts of the book that I felt were rushed and don't want to give a full five stars because of that. I can't wait to see if more comes from this universe with the way the epilogue left things.
In the end I loved my first mermaid series!

I feel like there are so many loose ends with Lucia being free and a malingo look alike just traversing the ocean. A quick and sloppy close to an otherwise great series

This book is a great end to the series. I loved reading how each of the storylines of the characters tied up and seeing them all reunited and working together.

This was a great YA series that will be enjoyed by the young and young at heart.
