I couldn’t put it down

I cannot give this book enough praise! I knew nothing going into this book before reading it (like with all the books I read) and I seriously not expecting to like it as much as I did!

There’s so many great types of horror in this book and it’s genuinely scary. I can’t remember the last book that freaked me out when I read it. I was shocked it find out this was a YA book because of how creepy it can get.

Didn’t know I was grabbing a horror (which is not generally one of my favorite genres) but the cover sucked me in. This book was eerie and terrifying. Absolutely sucked me in even though I was afraid

Like other reviewers, this gave me a "Stranger Things" vibe.

DON'T WALK ALONE, OR THE STITCHER WILL FIND YOU.
DON'T STAY OUT LATE, OR THE STITCHER WILL TAKE YOU.
DON'T CLOSE YOUR EYES, OR THE STITCHER WILL REMAKE YOU.

Local Boogeyman
Gruesome Murders
Serial Killer
Supernatural Mystery

Where He Can't Find You is a great choice if you want a horror book that's not too gorey! There's some disturbing details, but since it's YA it isn't too descriptive! The pacing is excellent, swapping POV to keep us engaged and build suspense, and friendships that get closer throughout as they try to save one of their own from their gruesome fate. It's well written, but I think I'll check out her NA stuff next time!🫶
