I'd give this more of a 3.5

I liked it far better than the first book and I think it's because Lily matures a little bit. Can't wait to see if they also adapt this on Netflix.

Another second read. I do agree its not as good as the first but its still amazing and i love the take of addressing how to cope with sadness and grief at a time of joy and magic.

It was such a cute read, I was surprised to see the turn that took in Lily and Dash’s relationship but it was ever the crazy ride with the most unexpected things happening…it really touched heartstrings by showing that relationships are always going to have ups and downs and people do grow up and changes will happen but you can survive all that and still be happy.

I heart New York. I heart Christmas. I heart Dash & Lily and therefore I heart this book!

2020 - Still stands!

2023 - Yes! Great to revisit during an NY trip that this time included the Staten Island Ferry! Watched the tv show in the lead up instead of book 1 due tk lack if time this year.
