my first book of 2023, the first book i've ever read by keigo higashino, and my first 5* book of 2023.

what can i say besides its a wild ride. every reveal of secrets and how everything connected at the end. the characters and their (dark) backstory.

keigo higashino really impressed me with this book. i literally bring this book everywhere i go because i canNOT stop reading this novel. now, i want to buy the devotion of suspect x.

god, what an experience.

this is the third book of higashino’s i’m reading and it felt a little draggy compared to his other books, but this one is the one that messed me up the most. good lord, i feel so sad for all the women in this book…
