I have re read this book and loved Cee Cer the second time around.
The story in present day was exciting as she found her feet in Thailand without Star and when she arrived in Australia I knew the story was just going to get better and better.
The historical part with Kitty McBride - what a great character - not put off by the isolation of the new town she finds herself in and the tragedy which unfolds she seems to go from strength to strength.
These books are just so additive and easy to feel part of and I felt there were a few clues in this one about the seventh sister.
Astounding and certainly not my very favourite of the sisters but she has grown on me.

Wederom een prachtig boek, mooie personages en een heerlijke geschiedenis om over te lezen.

CeCe wasn't my favourite of the sisters from the start of this series - Lucinda Riley tries to pull back on her unlikeable portrayal up until this point but didn't quite get there for me.

I love this series. The historical stories interwoven into the current day is so clever. I learn something with each new book.
