I think my actual rating would be 2.5 stars. I liked it enough to get to the end because I wanted to know what happened, and it was not poorly written, but I liked none of the characters and had to suspend disbelief to even get into it. The plot hinged on an initial action that I just couldn't understand the motivation for. It felt like it played a lot on the Gone Girl trope of Wife With A Lot Of Secrets and Kinda Jerky And Oblivious Husband.
