Addison catches her fiancé cheating with the neighbor then her heartless father fires her when she breaks the engagement. It hurts but it also makes her realize she hasn’t been happy in a long time so it’s time to move on. She chooses a destination randomly for a trip with her best friend. It’s just a chance to step away from the shambles her life is in at home and take a deep breath. She didn’t anticipate meeting Chase, though.

Their vacation fling is hot but then he abruptly ends it without explanation and she heads home nursing a broken heart. Not long after she returns home, Addison gets a big surprise and returns to Colorado to deliver the news but she’s in for a much bigger shock. There are a lot of things Chase didn’t bother to tell her in the time they spent together and it quickly becomes clear he went out of his way to hide details of his life. Nothing could have prepared her for this.

I enjoyed Chase and Addison’s story very much, even though this is angstier than the stories I usually read. There’s a sad twist in this that I don’t love and had I known that, I might not have read it but it’s a good story and I’m glad I did.

This is the first book that I read by Amanda Cuff, and I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I loved All That Lies Between Us! I loved the characters, the writing was done very well, and the plot was right up my alley. I can't wait to finish the next book in this duet!

All That Lies Between Us is a book about taking those risks that scare you, risks that can change you forever. The ones that you say you’d never do but once you do your life has never felt so free and so yours.

Addison has had some moments that crushed her but from that she rises up and takes the strength she never realizes where hers. She is sassy and smart and while hit with major bumps in her road handles then all with Grace. Chase is the pillar of inner and outer strength. He knows his idea of right and wrong and he knows his strength is needed. He is beyond sexy, he is sweet and most of all his loyalty makes you swoon so hard.

When their worlds collide, it’s an instant combustion of emotions. Mostly unsaid but those acted on are felt so hard. It’s a start of a journey, it’s the beginning of so many things and it’s a glimpse at what we could all have if we just let ourselves be free.

What Amanda brings us in this first half of her In Between Duet is this amazingly raw and honest story are feelings so deep that when you finish you will be changed for the better. You will want to take chances and work through the consequences and you will truly understand the meaning of love.

Last week I finished a book and tried reading two other books after, but couldn’t. So yesterday I started reading this book and I honestly got sucked in. This book was such a page turner and there were so many shocks and stuff I thought I saw coming, but I was wrong, oh so wrong. This book was everything I needed. Addison and Chase, just wow. I am in love with these characters and even hours after finishing this my heart is still aching. I can’t wait to start reading the next book.

I have mixed feelings about this book. Like a lot of mixed feelings.

It was a great story but a few tropes that I didn't like was in this book and the surprises just kept on coming.

I don't think I would have picked up this dualogy on my own. But because its an ARC I did read it and it was a fun read just except for the few tropes that i didn't want in there.

Thank you to Amanda for providing me with this E-ARC in exchange for a honest review!

Addison finds out the her fiancée is cheating on her with the next door neighbor. Addison ends up quitting her job as a lawyer (hers fathers firm where her now ex-fiancée works at), and decides to venture off to Colorado for a week with her best friend, Olivia.

Addison and Olivia end up staying in the mountains in a cabin in Colorado. They end up running into these two men, Chase and Drake, which happen to be the owners of the cabins.

Addison and Chase start talking to each other. I’m not going to say much more because I don’t want to spoil anything!

This book was very addictive to read! I just couldn’t stop reading! If you’re looking to get into small town romance, this book is for you! I’m exciting to start the 2nd book!
