Damn. I love everything about this book.
Rina Kent, will this be the start of my obssession with your books?
You covered everything.
Killian Carson. Damn, my monster. 🥵
You broke me.
“Listen to me and listen to me well, Glyndon. I spent my whole life repressing my true nature, but I’d willingly embrace my demons for you. I’d turn into the devil, a monster, and whatever weapon I have to be if it means I can protect you. You will never, ever question me about it, do you hear me?”

Not all girls like the hero. I was fated to fall in love with the villain.
I read the warnings like a responsible reader, so I am not surprised by the amount of insanity this book has. If anything, it only made me love it more! I’ve been searching for a truly unhinged character, and Killian Carson did not disappoint. Even his name would be enough to convince me to read this.

If Killian told me to bark, I'd never stop. I feel so sick in the head for loving them. I really had to put down my morals for this man and you know, I'd do it again, he's such a comedian.
Also, RK naming LeviAstrid's kids: Landon, Brandon, and Glyndon AND having strained relationships between them. JAIL! But we move.

I’ve always been an open-minded person. I can forgive criminals, murderers and stalkers but sex offenders, nuh uh, that’s where I draw the line. Our first ever interaction with Killian is him assaulting Glyndon while she’s in the weakest position she has ever been. I can understand the excitement of being dominated by someone but this scene just made me so uncomfortable, I was actually begging for this man to not be our love interest.
While I understand Killian does not think like the standard neurotypical person, the chemistry between him and Glyn felt purely lustful and superficial.
The third-act-conflict was only scratched on the surface, I felt as if Glyn immediately threw herself in Kill’s arms after the slightest bit of explanation that didn’t even come from him. During the fight Kill had with Gareth at their parents’ place, I would’ve loved to be in his point of view, see how everything was turning a darker red in his mind after Glyndon left.
Also, throughout the story, I got the ick because Glyndon's virginity was always described as a gift or a prize to chase by Killian.
Overall this book was a 2.25★ for me. I quite enjoyed our cast of characters, especially Nikolai, I can’t wait to get to his book.
