My first attempt at a dark romance and it wasn't for me. That's fine, the content warnings were there and I went in anyways so my opinion of the book isn't influenced by that. The thing that really annoyed me were the one dimensional flat characters and writing. The characters in this series are the children of the characters in another and they don't let you forget about it. I promise you, no college kid spends that much time thinking about mommy and daddy. The constant referencing of family ties was exhausting.

Just wasn’t for me! Wouldn’t have been able to see past how their ‘relationship’ began - with sexual assault.

God of Malice is an alpha anti-hero, dark, bully, sociopath romance. It has many, many triggers, be warned. Although this is definitely not my normal read, I got sucked in and devoured this one. It is a highly emotional read. I went from hating Killian in the beginning of the book to loving him by the end. He and Glyndon were perfect for each other. I can't wait for the second book in this series.

The narration was great by Sebastian York, Josie Minor, Aaron Shedlock, Wen Ross, and Kylie Stewart. They really made this book feel real and were perfect in their parts.

I ate this book up! In the beginning I actually really didn’t like killian, I imagined him as a very weak tiny guy and not at all how he is described because of how he acted but as the book went on and you learned more about him I was able to see him as he is portrayed and now am fully obsessed! Very dark very twisted! Not for the new to dark romance or those with certain triggers.
