OK, so I finished this book in three days which is surprising because I usually take my time and reading books, but this one had me hooked and I may be sick in the head because I enjoyed this book so much that I think I need help but even though some of the reviews on it were Saying that they are questioning also yes there is SA in the beginning but like every dark romance book you read, you always check the trigger warnings and if you can’t read it it’s fine it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but what made me cry more at the end was all like the heartwarming, forgiving of the misunderstood villain in terms of Killian and how every villain is misjudged, but Glenydon says “Not all girls like the hero. I was fated to fall in love with the villain.”

Now I see why Legacy of Gods series blew up on internet and drew so many new fans to Rina Kent. I feel she is now more comfortable with her writing in general and dark heroes. Killian reminded me a little about Aiden but way darker. (Back then Aiden felt more like a super possessive character to Else and did some shady things on the side line while Killian upped the game to a whole different level. Yeah like total apathetic sociopath level.) but that was also what made Killian unique. He really didn’t give a fuck to the world and people at all. For people who don’t mind reading this type of problematic hero, they would enjoy the book. Otherwise Killian could be quite triggering to some readers. Anyway I enjoyed it (but I probably shouldn’t read it before my block final but whatever). Love how Rina wrote a couple chapters from parents’ POV (sorry Killian and Glyndon, I still love your parents more as RES always held a special place in my heart ❤️)

Oh by the way the ending kinda felt flat to me. Devlin stirred up all this drama and he kinda got away with it.

Heat: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (Rina added more kinks but overall it felt less spicy if you get what I mean)
