This book was ridiculous. There was so much exposition during the character’s conversations that it took me completely out of the story, which was problematic to begin with.

Killian and Glyndon were such fucking stupid, dumb, shallow, pretentious and cringe ass characters 😭 bro please, i thought they were gonna be unhinged, but why did Killian sounded like the annoying murderous version of Alex Volkov, without being cringe-funny? At least Alex's cringe can be entertaining to read about, now Killian was just so dull and bland, he took himself too seriously for somebody who had no substance. Did he literally think he was Grayson Sullivan from Madly, Darkly duet or something? Well, obv he's the Temu version of G.S. I can't stand their povs frfr, so i just skim read, and even then, there was nothing interesting happening?

I have also heard bad things about the next books in this series, and apparently they're all the same plot, characterisation etc? Wtf is this? The Twisted series by Ana Huang but make it blander? No way in hell am i reading those too! The only other couple i was interested to read about was JeremyCecily and EliAva but i heard that they were also disappointing. So i don't think i'll be touching their books either. However, I did liked Brandon, and I'd read his book if not for the fact that I couldn't stand Nikolai. Niko reminded me of Josh Chen, and their annoying mouthy selves both gave me the ick. Sorry Bran, i wanna read your story, but i don't waste my time on shitty books i dont enjoy for fun anymore, so i'll pass your book too.

Anyway, from what little have i read of Rina Kent, i just knew she's not my fav author because i really hate the misogyny, sexism, women-hating, elements in her books that seemesd to never end, as well as her never-improving craft in writing. Her writing was so convoluted and for what? I literally just DNF-ed Mile High for the same reason being the writing was suffocating me (among many other reasons) and now God of Malice also had the same problem? Authors, please use some editing! I beg you all, please!

I’ve read my fair share of dark/dark-romance books but this one… I can’t. The characters were not lovable (in my opinion) and there wasn’t a lot of stuff happening in the book aside from the sex and abuse honestly. I’ve heard this is the worst book out of the whole saga/world of Rina but I’m not sure I want to pick up another one…

It’s absolutely 6 stars for me. I don’t know how I am supposed to enjoy reading this much after this MASTERPIECE.
