New favorite author, hands down. First book of hers I read and I’m hooked, eager for the next. And then I’ll have to go back and read the ones before this too.

This whole book was ehh. Definitely spicy but also just some weird vibes. I liked the backstory / mystery vibes going on with devlin and was surprised what really happened bc I would’ve not thought that Kilian was so unaware of who he was/his family/serpent shit… like he really fooled him which just is not his characters vibe. Anyone outside of the main two characters had the most half ass role in the story. And I think I’m just semi disappointed bc chapter 1 had me thinking we were getting some vampire vibes for no reason other than how she described him in the woods lol

You know the morally black character you're supposed to hate? Well unfortunately it isn't Kiliian.

Rina Kent has made me realize that morally black is my favorite. The moment I feared that the book became "repetative" she would throw a curveball at me. I could barely put it down, unfortunately I did have to sleep and eat. I can't wait to devour the rest of the God series.
