Nicky! So much rough on top of so much sweet.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t think I could forgive his initial blunder. Like a super hard thing to get past. And then he started showing who he was. And then he showed more. And now, I think I might be in love. (Please don’t tell my husband, he’d be mighty jelly.)
But seriously. The push and pull between Nick & Dalia, the relationships she formed, not just with him, but literally everyone. It was beautiful to think someone out there was just so comfortable with themselves that the rest of the world couldn’t help but to be that way with her too.
She wasn’t weak. Literally my favorite part of the whole book, was how she’d already experienced something that made her feel that way, and so she just was adamant in doing better.
I typically don’t read rockstar romance, but I had a feeling from the blurb, and I’m so glad I did.

I just loved how Dalia was so sassy and quick witted where as Nick is all broody and grumpy as when they are around each other is fun for everyone as they verbally spar and its all Nicks fault for calling her a name no one should be called. All the guys from Blue is the Colour band are great with such different personality's so getting to know them while seeing how things unfold for Dalia and Nick was great especially as you get to understand why he lashed out. I have to say one of my favorite parts was what Dalia bought for Ian and then how Nick reacted (insert grab tissues) so yeah read it, love it and wait impatiently like me for the next book! 😜
I wasn’t feeling a rockstar Romance, and this book surprised me. Until the third act conflict. That did not work for me.
Dalia goes to a concert with her sister. She didn’t really care much for the music. There is some drama and she tweets about it. This in then causes more drama. Ironically she is offered a job to tour with the band and she takes it. In the beginning her and Nick the lead singer or enemies. During the tour things begin to heat up. Read this book to see where they end up!
You know who we are. You know what we came for. Hard and rough, then slow and easy. And you’re gonna take it all. “Cause we’re Blue is the Color- and you effing love us!
If you spent your teenage years spending every waking (and should be sleeping) moment reading fanfiction, this will be a comforting read. A guy in a band says something nasty to a fan on twitter, a band mate invites her over, and then they hire her. At any point, this could turn into a thriller made for Lifetime! Turns out, no matter how rude and crude Nick is with Dalia, there’s no one else he’s more free and open with. He’s emotions and true heart are all right there on the table. And she takes it. Not for herself, or to be selfish. But to protect him, be his rock. Unfortunately, he’s not used to that. So the crudeness continues. I know emotions can be difficult and confusing, but that’s no excuse to be a douchecadoodle! Not that it mattered, Dalia (and I) put up with it, because he needed it. And as much as they battled each other with words, they battled with sexual tension even more! I guess locked on a tour bus cross country will do that to ya!
This thing with Dalia, it was only mine. I didn’t know what sacrifice I’d make to keep her- but I was pretty damn sure I’d make it.
My Favorite Quotes:
•’It was a damn shame I had to pull away to chew because Dalia combined with chocolate was the sweetest thing I’d ever tasted.’
•”So taste me and find out.”
•”I’m throwing caution to the wind right now, Nick. You coming with me?”
•”Don’t ask me to go slow. I need to go hard.” “Go hard, baby. I’m here. I got you.”
•”I want to taste the day we just had when my face is between your legs.”
•”I won’t push you away. It feels too good to have you close.”
•”What’re you doing?” “Staking my claim.”

This one grew on me as I read it!! Nothing special but a cute easy read. I hated how dalia and her sister called each other “sissy” lol I know that’s a small detail but it made me sooo mad. I thought Nick was funny tho and thought they were cute tighter

This was good. I enjoyed it. I didn't love it. Something was missing but I am not sure what. Watch me unravel was recommended to me and I like to read in order. It will be nice to see the guys of the band in their books.
It was a solid, quick read. Not amazing, not the worst thing ever. Star taken away for some repeat editing errors.
This story made me smile while reading and made my heart happy.
