Damn, this story seems promising. Also, I'm finally reading it which is a great feeling because I bought it three years ago.
Good start to the series. I particularly like the changes that [a:Yoshiyuki Sadamoto|164714|Yoshiyuki Sadamoto|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1274725162p2/164714.jpg] made to Shinji for the manga version. I've kind of realized that certain character personalities work better as written characters (whether in prose fiction or in sequential art), and others work better in motion mediums (like anime or live action film). The characterization changes just work better here.
The one complaint I have is that I lose track of the action in some of the action sequences, particularly when the military is attempting to stop the Angel in its first attack (and failing).

This is my third run-through of the Evangelion series (probably tenth of the first episode). I'm picking up even more things that I missed in the TV series. This comic series is pretty much panel-for-panel the show, with an added Shinji philosophical subplot, introducing some things that predict later things in the show.

This is the first time I've ever read anything about Evangelion, and I've never seen the anime. I really liked this volume !! Loved the 90s vibe that it has and the story is very interesting

Recently wanted the anime and End of Evangelion and I just had to come back and read the manga.
Still coming around to this medium, but I just really love this story and the liberties that Sadamoto chooses to take here and there are intriguing.

Que buen inicio de serie.
Evangelion es ese nombre con el que siempre me topaba en las listas de Manga y Anime, pero nunca me habían dado ganas de verlo hasta este año, y no estoy seguro de si esperar fue la mejor opción, pero puedo decir que me ha gustado mucho como inicio el manga, se que aun hay misterios por resolver y personajes por desarrollar, porque hasta donde se, ahí radica él éxito de esta serie, así que ya solo queda disfrutar de los demás volúmenes :)
