I would have liked this book better if Becky wasn't a completely unlikable character. She's unbelievably stupid, and incredibly self-centered while at the same time not being aware of how she comes across to others at all. And of course, at the end the author makes it so she was right about everything and everyone just loves her. No, just no. That's not how life works. Thank goodness this was the last Shopaholic book I needed to read to complete my reading of the series. I don't ever want to be in this girl's head again.

I wait at least half a year between these Shopaholic books because Becky (the shopaholic)can really drive me nuts, but she is such a likeable person, I'm always willing to give her another chance--just not immediately. This was my favorite of her stories so far. I don't think there was as much of her crazy out-of-control shopping. Or it was tempered enough by her frugal (and also at times to a drive-you-crazy extreme as bad as Becky's)sister. The copy I read was large print--I don't know if that could have made a difference too--I'm weird about what effects me when I read sometimes--esp. when I read fluff!

Very Inspiring and funny :)

Just like her, I would do everything just for my sister :)

Hmmm, this is the last Shopaholic book that I would bother reading as they get progressively worse from here. Becky started off as a great character but she grew more fickle and feckless over time and you almost WANT her life to go wrong in the hopes that this time she will learn from it. She won't. This lack of character growth ruined the series for me.

If you like to listen to books on tapes, this is a great one. I love English accents. And it was so fun to listen to. I love Sophie Kinsella books and this didn't disappoint. The shopaholic series usually causes me great anxiety, but listening to this book didn't make my heart start racing like reading does.

Quick goofy read. She hasn't learned a thing... but that's why I read these books... Lol
