Damn, now I know why this book is so popular even though it doesn't feature the famous beloved Mr. Poirot. Then there were none is exceptionally good. It really sucks you in and you can feel the anxiety of being on an island with no way to escape and seeing everyone else dying one by one around you. The ending is quite satisfactory a the whole story fills you with dread. But it's also really nice seeing it wrapped up nicely and you are left thinking perhaps they did all deserve it? Every time I read an Agatha Christie novel I found myself amazed at the exquisite writing that noone can quite get right these days. If there was one book i had to recommend from her it would be this one.

Another to go in the top tier of Christies! Also, imma give myself the win on this one. Or a half win! Similar to Murder in Retrospect, Christie gave me plenty twists and turns but I was straight shot on my central intuitions. It feels so rewarding to pay attention and be on the right track, even IF she got me a ton on the way. Lol.
And besides, it wouldn’t be fun if I wasn’t getting surprised. Rewarded for paying attention but still surprised is the best mystery experience and Agatha nearly NEVER misses.

Denna bok av Agatha Christie läste jag för första gången när jag gick i högstadiet, och detta var första gången jag läste om den sedan dess. Kan konfirmera att den fortfarande är min favorit av Miss Christie. Det är tack vare denna bok jag dras till alla filmer och böcker med denna handling. En till synes grupp främlingar samlas på en ö, ett hus eller liknande, och mördas en efter en. Det är bara så sjukt bra! Samt att man sitter på helspänn konstant, och det är bland de svårare att finna mördaren. För varje person man misstänker, så *vips*, är den död. Ska ni läsa nåt av Agatha Christie, är denna definitivt i min topp! 👏🏼

Ok it's iconic can't deny it!!!!! Honestly some parts of the characters backstories were confusing but I think that is either intentional or a personal issue. My only gripe is that I wish it was a woman who murdered them all, but regardless, good for him
