I definitely enjoyed this one, but it was a bit of a struggle to get into it for me. Shallan and Dalinar were both exhausting to read for 75% of the story, which sucked because they were probably the major POV characters for this one. I did like where they ended up in the end though. The last ~200 pages were excellent and flew by, so it was definitely worth reading to me!

The third book of the Stormlight Archive is a great addition to the series. Continuing from the previous two installments, this one focuses on the relationship between humans and the listeners. More and more are becoming Radiant, but the moral dilemmas that brings to the world are more complex than anyone ever dreamed. Though Sanderson gives the reader a satisfying ending, there is definitely room for more plot and character development. I can’t wait to read the fourth novel.

This is a case of an ultimately very good book being brought down a bit by an ending that I didn't love. To avoid spoilers, I just felt that a lot of things happened that were not properly set up to feel earned. Besides that, however, I loved the character arcs in this book the most of the series so far. We really explored the world more, which is fantastic.
