i really didn't give this much of a shot - i feel bad but meh? the translation seems a little clunky and it's just not what i expected it to be. i knew the MC was depressed but off the bat it's... a lot? idk. if ur gonna talk about mental health please don't make the very start and the MC immediately kinda unbearable and caricature ish... clearly other ppl have enjoyed this and i could push a little further but i'm definitely not gonna love it so i'm out unfortunately. love the idea a lot though - if this got made into an anime i would 100% watch it

If you are a depressed, in debt and despairing Millenial who grew up watching Magical Girl Anime and believed they would grow up to be *special*, you are like me and the blurb of this book will appeal to you.

I have just finished the audiobook and I would like to sit and gather my overall thoughts on this book. But I already know that this book may speak to a certain generation who feel despondent about the future. Hopefully I'll get back to you on a fuller review.
