soooooo much unnecessary drama hahahah but it IS a YA book - most of it was realistic and resolved, but i do not like that some of it is not addressed. the girlfriends in this book are discarded with no further thought and even the female MC doesn't seem to empathise much with them.... nick is such a dick tbh and who apologises?? certainly not him!! always sage!! for what????  charlie too should go back to all the girls he dated to cover up his queerness and to sage and APOLOGISE; is it really that hard.
luke is the only unproblematic man in this book lmao 

so it was a cute romance for teens, but as someone with a fully developed frontal cortex it angered me sometimes. it could also have been shorter, it dragged towards the end. still entertaining.

I just love how K.L. Walther rights. I can literally close my eyes and be fully immersed in her universe. Can't wait for While We're Young and A First Time for Everything to be released!
