I expected more from the book. I've read better stories from Armentrout.
I mean it was a good story, I liked it, it was a pretty story... But I missed more tension, I missed deeper feelings... Or maybe the book just didn't got ME to that point.

Terrible cliche book from beginning to end.

Also I couldn't get over the fact that the author kept calling it "Puerto Rican", obviously thinking that's a language different than Spanish. She should've done her research. It was mentioned 4 times...just ridiculous.

This was one of those heart pounding I can't get enough romance books. The writing was so vivid and at times I felt I was living in this one....it felt sooooo real. The hero in this story, Rider Stark, will make you swoon, even as a married mother of one, I was transported back to those days of the butterflies in your stomach and blushing incessantly. Mallory, the heroine, is a young lady who has faced some darkness as a child and she is now a teenager who has overcome the odds while struggling to find her true identity. She has had one constant in her life:...the boy who promised her forever. Some books like this boy will promise to stay with you forever....this is that type of book and this is that swoon worthy type of romance
