Lovely and adorable. It took me a little while to get used to reading a graphic novel as it’s my first, and it’s a different kind of book than a novel. But lovely characters, great feeling, and really took me back to high school crushes and realizing that you may not crush solely on who you expect.

It was very short. Not lots of words. Good for something light-hearted when you want to read and not have to think to much. Happy.

A heart-wrenching debut to a wonderful series, leaving me hungry for volume 2! Oseman's simplistic style helps the pages fly by as the great will-they-won't-they unfolds at Truman Grammar School for Boys.

This is my first graphic novel that i’ve read! I don’t think I would have read it if it weren’t a Netflix show that I had already watched and that it was insanely popular. But oh man, the netflix show was so cute that I had to come read the books. I really enjoyed seeing the pictures, i never get to do that in other books. the story was amazing obviously. it is mostly a very idyllic situation, because in reality no rugby boy would be as nice as nick. i will have to read the following novels now!

A sweet young adult romance that has a graphic novel format. Charlie is openly gay and early on in the novel we see he’s getting texts from another boy, Ben, to kiss in between classes, but the relationship doesn’t seem balanced from the first image of their texting. Charlie meets Nick in a new class group and they become fast friends. Charlie starts to have a crush on Nick, but thinks Nick is straight. Their relationship is super wholesome and I loved their stories. I’m looking forward to reading the second volume. I would recommend this graphic novel to those who enjoy wholesome romance stories or people who want to read about LGBTQ+ main characters who have a mostly happy/positive love story.
