I found Logan's story to be interesting. A young man who turned his life around for his son, and who has a big heart willing to take in others.

Candlelight Christmas is the perfect choice for a holiday read, or any time of year. It’s an addictive, feel-good, happy-ending, give-you-the-warm-and-fuzzys story that should not be missed. - Full review available at http://romanticreadsandsuch.wordpress.com/2013/12/24/book-review-candlelight-christmas/

Logan O'Donnell is a dedicated father who's worked hard to provide for his son, Charlie, creating and running a prosperous insurance company in the small town of Avalon. When his ex-wife's new husband gets transferred to a far away military base, Logan is left with a Charlie-sized hole in his life, and he decides to embark on a new business venture, one that fills him with the passion and purpose his insurance company never has. It's his sister's friend, Darcy, who gives him the idea.
Darcy has just divorced her cheating ex-husband and vows never again to marry, especially not a man with kids. Giving up her stepchildren was as difficult as giving up her marriage. Still, it's hard to resist Logan, and even harder when he sets out to persuade her to give them a chance.
I am so delighted to see Logan get the happiness he deserves! I felt so bad for him in Marrying Daisy Bellamy because he tried so hard to make things work and be the best father he could be, and it wasn't his fault that Daisy was in love with someone else. I'm glad Ms. Wiggs gave him his own book. Interestingly, according to the timeline of book #2 in this series, The Winter Lodge, this book takes place in about 2018.
For readers' advisors: story and character doorways. Some sex scenes but nothing terribly explicit.

This was a good one. I remember feeling sort of sorry for Logan in previous books. So it was nice to have a book about him for a change. I do wonder how long this story will go on though. It seems like she's covered most everyone. Maybe it's time to start a new series.

2015 50 Book Reading Challenge: A book set during Christmas
Nothing better than a cozy romance in a series that I've been looking forward to reading for a while during Christmas...well right after Christmas, but it was a busy year! Really enjoyed the story in this one. Logan and Darcy make a cute couple. There is a slight focus on children in this one, but it didn't detract from the romance. :)

I love the Lakeshore chronicles. I was wondering what ever happened to Logan after the split up with Daisy. This series is my favorite read and I fall in love with every story. I am so happy Logan found happiness. He is a good man and deserved it. I can't wait till the next book to come out. Keep them coming Susan! :)

Part of Wiggs' Lakeshore Chronicles, this is Logan's love story. Logan has changed quite a bit during the series. He's grown-up from the wild teenager to a wonderful father to Charlie. This was a nice read (even in the middle of summer)!
