Took me ages to actually start ts but once I did I finished it in a few days. Idk I remember six of crows being a lot better but maybe I was just blinded by the fact I hadn’t read that good a fantasy book in a while. I never properly felt attached to

Inej and kaz’s relationship and I wish I did idk why I didn’t

.  Still a lot better than the shadow and bone trilogy. Anyways ts was good but eh, maybe a 3.5.

WOW. I haven’t had this much fun with a story in a long while. The best of its kind. Before even finishing Crooked Kingdom, I already had ordered both books in hardbacks to keep forever. Dark, and grisly at times, this duology crawls from a past of horror and traumatic injustices and soars to heights of beautiful resolution and redemption. It feels strange to call such a dark and dreary story beautiful, but I think it is. Incredible.
