Cute and cutesy. The premise behind the "fake dating" was paper thin and the sperm donor side-story was super weird but the story was cute and the characters were cute. Kind of wish I'd known more about how the main male character made his money or how on earth the main female character got
head hunted for a director role despite being a secretary for three years which is hardly the most outwardly-facing role
but it was easy to read and I liked the ending.

It was a cute grumpy/sunshine, fake dating, boss/employee romance. The characters were lovable. The women had a great relationship. The ending was a bit over the top corny but it was an easy read.

This was a fun, easy read and I loved it. A couple of parts in the book were weird but overall it was a cute story.

First book of hers I have read

Such a fun romantic comedy. I enjoyed this change in story lines compared to what I have been reading the last two months. Moving on to book 2

Everly Dalton is a dating disaster if the many failed first dates are anything to go by. But by day, she is the super-efficient assistant to Shephard Calloway, the smoking hot, robot-like, emotionless boss who expects everyone to do as he asks, when he asks. Shephard has a string of beautiful women on his arm and when he is done with them, Everly arranges a vacation for them as a consolation prize. After Svetlana, one of these dates tries to worm into his life, he realizes he will need to take drastic measures to stop her. Enter Everly, number one assistant, who he asks to be his live-in girlfriend to throw Svetlana off the scent. It's purely a business arrangement, although when you see someone out of their normal environment, relaxed and trusting, you may develop feelings. But this is business! Such a fun read, although it is a standalone you should read the prequel Dating Ms. Right, which is four short stories about four of Everly's dating disasters. I only hope these are from Ms. Kingsley's imagination and not experience because that would be tragic! Well worth reading.

Re-read: Loved this book just as much the second time around!! Perhaps more so since I read Everly's Dating Disasters before diving in!

I absolutely adored this book. I laughed so much reading this book. The characters were dynamic and interesting. I truly, TRULY loved how they didn't talk about each other's looks right off the bat. In fact, in the beginning of the book there is no hint that they find each other attractive at all-- it isn't a focus, which just makes their progress to becoming a couple so much more amazing and wonderful.
One book in by this author and I already know I'm a fan. I'm so, so excited for the next book in this series and I am more than ready to read all her other books in the meantime.

I love a little grumpy sunshine romance and this book gave me that. It was nothing crazy special but it was exactly what I needed on vacay: something quick, spicy, and had me giggling and kicking my feet.
