I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this couple. Shepherd and Everly were not unique - he's an emotionless iceman and she's little miss sunshine - but their relationship from boss and employee to fake couple to real couple was a fun development. I think the conflict that forces them to pretend to be dating and living together was extremely stupid and very easily resolved but otherwise it was fine.

First I would recommend you read Everly Dalton dating disasters. Everything in that book is referenced in this book, but Dating Disasters gives you all the details, it's short, and so worth it. I normally am not so into office romance, but I loved this book. Shepherd was such a great character, and his dad was awesome. Plus you get a cameo from the Mogul and the Muscle! I love when authors sneak in stuff from their other books. This book had some pretty hot scenes, but had such a sweet happily ever after.

I was craving a fake relationship book and this was recommended - a first of this author but the premise was exactly what I was looking for.
While the premise was one that had been done before, I still really liked this book. It was fun, both characters were likable, the other characters throughout were good and the growing relationship between the MMC/FMC as it transitioned from fake to real was believable.
If you are looking for something fun and easy to read, would recommend.
