This book hits a little too close to home because i am the main character
I received a free copy of this book in the newsletter of another author. The story is short, but I enjoyed it. The story was fun and steamy. I love their meet cute. Why only three stars? Well, it would’ve been four except the epilogue is missing from the copy I received. It seems to indicate it was coming out in February, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I would really like to know what happened. Until then, 3 incomplete stars.

This is a sexy, quick contemporary romance. From the glimpse of their characters that we got from this short novella, Emilia and Evan are complex characters. This story has heat as the main characters spend a lot of their time having open door sex. It was only told through the heroine’s perspective, so we got to see growth within her character.
While I enjoyed this read, I wish it had been longer. I wanted more time to explore the relationship and more of these characters. I love seeing character development which isn’t possible in such a short story.
The narrator was easy to listen to and changed her voice depending on the character who was speaking.

This was the most adorable book and it had me laughing all over the place!!! I really want this to be longer though because i fell head over heels in love with it. I just had such a solid time with this one. It is a super short novella, at 64 pages I believe or you can listen on Audible Plus. I found this to be such a fun delight to listen to even though it had a trope I don't care for too much. But the author, why do I doubt her, delivered completely for me. And it had the type of ending I prefer on such a quick read here. She really handled all aspects so well. The chemistry is HOT! Fair Warning, she really knows how to deliver on the steamy scenes. And it became so easy to relate with these characters. I just fell so hard for them.
