This was a short and sweet novella, but like many short stories it left a lot to be desired (I would've loved for the epilogue to be expounded upon, for example). The love scenes were definitely steamy and the description of the types of men on dating apps made me laugh because it was so relatable LOL. Ultimately, this was a great story to pick up for a bit of escapism!

I HATED the beginning of this. The main issue I have with Elle Kennedy’s books is that I find a lot of misogyny in them. I found Emilia to be insufferable and hypocritical. But this one definitely gets better and was worth the quick read. It was very cute and I ended up loving Emilia and Evan together.
Cute. I enjoyed getting to see the start of Emilia and Evan’s relationship. Wish this Novella was a full book.
