Unrealistic glowing tale of self.

FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS!!!! 7.00 CAWPILE.

I was eager to pick up the second book in this trilogy about Dave’s life, however this book was not as moving as the first one.

I liked learning more about the foster care system and the stigma behind being a f-child or an f-parent. Very interesting for sure.

Wasn’t as hooked throughout this book so it took my longer to finish then the first one. I will be picking up the third book and I am eager to see where Dave’s journey goes from here.

Omg. I did in fact cry at the end. The author amazingly showed a glimpse of what it is to live and grow up in the foster care system, and really had me connected with each family he had stayed with. The amount of times I got so scared for what would happen next though. Kid got himself in serious trouble in parts of the book. It was such a heartfelt book, as was the previous one. This one was truly something else though, and lot more on the emotional side to be honest.

Better written than the first, and I was more moved by this, despite the horrifying scenes he lived through as described in the first book. I really liked the added remarks from some of the people who played significant roles in the author's life.
