I thought the end was rushed. And wasn't Xavier 18 when they graduated so it 2 years went by wouldn't he 20 not 22?

Qué final tan más mata-pasiones, no puede ser. Y hubo tantas cosas que al final no se explicaron; pequeñas cosas, pero importantes. Me siento helada.

The most compelling of the series. I do wish they found a different way in the end though. Well paced and great character development.
I couldn't finish it. It was just to damn frusterating.
I have loved this series and I am so thankful to ATOM publishers for giving me the chance to review this the final in the series as I was not disappointed.
The covers for this series have been beautiful and the main reason why I was first drawn to the series this cover is no difference. I love the way the silhouettes have made the shape of a heart because that is really the main focus of this series. I just love everything about this cover one of my favourite book covers.
I found that this book was a bit slow to start with and I did get a bit confused to what was happening this could have been different if I had re-read the last book as I forgot what happened. Even though I forgot what happened I think this picked up where the last one left off which I usually like as then it doesn't need to go back and forth between what is happening and what happened that we missed but I feel like there needed to be some of that as I did get lost a couple of times. After I read a few chapters I got into my reading stride and ended up loving it just like the others. I thought that some of the things that was going on was a bit cheesy but I kind of like that. Also after a few chapters in I found the pace picked up and got very entertaining. I did get very much involved with this book and found myself getting more and more anxious to read the next chapter. I liked the ending but I did feel like there was a couple of questions that didn't get answered but that was mainly from the side characters also I would have liked it if Adornetto went a bit further into the future.
I do usually like Beth but this time I liked her even more as she really became into her own person and not what everyone wanted her to be. She also fought for what she believed in and didn't just take it. She seemed a much more stronger person than in the previous books. I have always love Xavier and this book is no different as he is still sweet especially when in Beth's company but he also had a fighting attitude which I always love to see in my main characters. I would have liked to have seen more from Gabriel as towards the end something happened to him which made him a much more interesting character. I didn't like that we didn't get to see the other characters as much as like Gabriel they all seemed to go through something that would make them better characters but in this particular case it just fell a bit flat.
Overall, I enjoyed this book but I felt like there wasn't enough time invested in some of the 'smaller' characters and that it could have had some of the beginning shortened and the ending extended.

First things first O M Geezy.
So I was putting off reading this book as long as possible because its the last book of the halo trilogy and I hate when things end, but what an ending it was. They ran into one problem after the next and surprising things down every road. There were times when I was literally like “what the fuck is going on?" (cough cough Gabriel)
Heaven (the place) is not at all what I expected it to be, some of the angels there was gosh darn catty and I wondered how the hell did they land a job being an angel.
Xavier and Beth love was put to the ultimate test as if they hadn’t been through enough having gone to hell and back in the previous book Hades. And this book has sure shown me how much Beth has changed from the naive girl we saw in the first book who didn’t know what vodka was.
And something i didn’t realize until the end was how fast time passes in this book. What seems like a week could turn out to be a month.
I am glad i finally read the book, its sad to see it end but Xavier and Beth get their happy ending, even if it took forever to get there.

Fantastic book, but some of the plot lines weren't finished, like Molly, and all that. But otherwise, really enjoyed it!

I think this is my lowest rated of the Halo series, I mean this truly and honestly, I hated this book. I read this book out of a completionism personality, not because I was interested in what dumb ass Bethany had to say this time. The reason I liked this one so little, was that this was the book with the most glaring plot holes. For example, Ivy disappears for 8 FUCKING CHAPETERS. She disappears after a wacko breaks into their house and all we get is Gabe saying "She can take care of herself" which IS true but...where the fuck did she go? The wacko absolutely wrecks the house and I can't figure out why she would just let him? Like she has superpowers, how is a random schmuck with a god complex gonna overpower her? and for reference she NEVER SHOWS UP AGAIN. The next time you HEAR of Ivy is in the LAST CHAPTER, she isn't even there, just mentioned! Speaking of the wacko, another plot hole. Gabe mentions that he thinks that the wacko wouldn't be able to wreck the house on his own, and implies something supernatural may be helping him....that goes nowhere...HE IS NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN. I could go on: Why do all the angles in heaven (that are plot important anyway) have bodies when Bethany had said they were ALL balls of light previously?, What happens with Gabe and Molly?, they just kiss and never speak again, does Gabriel heal fully, does he lose status in heaven because of his association with Bethany, was this all part of gods plan, why did the demons kill Emily, what the fuck kind of powers does Xavier have and why does HE NEVER TRY AND HONE THEM??? TBH Adornetto has one of the most annoying writing styles I've read in awhile, she manages to sound pretentious and stupid all at the same time and she managed to write the most flat, boring and aggravating main character on ACCIDENT. I'm also not entirely convinced she doesn't have some kind of racial bias, because not only does she write about how much she loves the American south in the Q and A section, but the ONLY black character PERIOD, is basically an evil murderous angel that goes against the will of God... suspicious. The one star is entirely for Raphael and Lucifer (never thought I'd write that)
