I loved this just as much as The Deal! The Mistake follows Logan and Grace. Logan is obsessing over best friend Garrett’s girlfriend Hannah, and shagging anything that moves to get over her.

But then he meets Grace. Did he really ever love Hannah? Or was he envious of her and Garrett’s love and relationship?

He’s good enough to go pro with ice hockey after university but his Dad’s alcoholism may prevent him from doing so.

Can is dad change his ways? And can Logan confess his feelings to Grace before he pushes her away?

I liked the dual first person POV, and found Grace and Logan likeable as characters. The spice was pretty good too after the initial slow burn! I’ll definitely read on with this series.

This book was....a mistake properly titled. Im thankful it was 100 pages shorter than the last one. Just so so cringe and the FMC was extremely underdeveloped as a character.
HOWEVER, the mention of 'Fat Ted' was so casual that i got a solid laugh out if it. I want a Fat Ted book

I think I enjoyed this more than The Deal... Mostly because I loved Logan in that one and loved him even more in this one lol. Also I liked Grace way more than Hannah

My biggest qualm with this book is that it draaaaagged on. There was so much fluff about their every day life and hockey practice and Grace's summer in Paris doing basically nothing. So much unnecessary stuff that I did a lot of skimming through

But Logan and Grace's relationship and personal growth was enjoyable. They were so sweet and I really loved them 🥺 Also Logan is hot af

The Mistake
Elle Kennedy
Book #2 in Off-Campus Series

Trigger warning: addiction

SUMMARY:
John Logan, the charming college junior and hockey heartthrob, living his life in a whirlwind of parties and hookups. Behind the killer grins, though, he battles growing despair about the uncertain road post-graduation.

Enter freshman Grace Ivers, a sassy and self-assured woman who refuses to be just another conquest. After a misstep, Logan is on a mission in his final year to prove he's worth a second chance.

Grace, back at Briar University, is no longer the shy butterfly; she's taking charge and making Logan work for her attention!

MY THOUGHTS 💭
This book was an absolute delight - adorable and with a spicy kick! 🌶️ 🔥 Logan started as a bit of a typical jerk, but oh boy, he falls head over heels for Grace! The second chance romance vibe is real, and he has to put in the effort to win her back. I was cheering for them the whole way, and the ending was heartwarming 🥹💕

There's a touch on parental alcohol addiction, but I won't spoil more. Gave it a 4 ⭐️ because, honestly, I can't help comparing it to the first book with Graham & Hannah (The Deal), which I was totally obsessed with. Still, a solid 4⭐️ for this fast-paced, adorable, and SPICY second chance romance! 🥰

On to the next 🏒💕
