I have mixed feelings about this book. There is little to no plot, and there were some cringy parts of the book that didn’t seem well thought out, for example, a fight. The main characters have towards the end of the book seems selfish and unnecessary.

This book just seems like an extra book to add to the series.

this book was fun in general and I really enjoyed it at first but….

the girl mc was so unlikeable towards the end. she said her ex friend didn’t deserve her help to be saved from sa and essentially victim blamed her.

the girl mc had ocd but the depiction of ocd was so inaccurate. it seems like the author did not do any research about ocd before writing it in their book. trust me, ocd is much more complicated than just cleaning up after your roommate.

objectifying wlw by the guy mc. made me very uncomfy.

this book also lacked in diversity…

overall, the book had good potential but ya it was the little (big) things that ruined this for me.

The second book didn't really exceed my expectations but it was still a fun read. It lacked the "spark" the first book had. But it did have heavier topics of discussion. Logan is unhappy about his future but he thinks it's inevitable. He meets Grace but he is dumb and pushes her away thinking it would make things better. Spoiler alert it doesn't and he ends up doing everything he can to win her back. Pretty basic college romance book, wouldn't read again but it was fun.

I actually really liked it, it definitely doesn't compare to the deal but it was ok. But it isnt getting 5 stars because I like seeing a good developed romance story. And this definitely wasn't that, everything seemed rushed. But as always I love Elle Kennedy's writing. Besides extra points because I finished it in 2 days.
