I just finished the last page of the final book in the trilogy of Legend (not including the extra book Rebel) and I am speechless. When I finished the first book, Legend, I wasn't planning on continuing the series, but let me tell you, I am SO glad I changed my mind. Marie Lu's work of art in these books deserves all the praise, and should be up there sitting in the ranks with The Hunger Games. Just when you think (at the end of the second book, Prodigy) that June and Day are destined to lead seperate lives and forget all that has happened, they are once again brought together in a battle fighting for everything they know and love. The third installment of this series was filled with adrenaline-pumping events, bittersweet heartfelt moments, and tense, breathtaking scenes. Each page of this book kept me on the edge of my seat, and I can not recommend this series enough. Age rec 14+ (the two main characters spend the night together, sexual relations are implied, but the writing mostly focuses on their emotions during this time, not the physical description. Very tastefully written, and did not make me uncomfortable (as I often get uncomfortable in scenes like these))

Marie Lu managed to be consistent with all 3 books in her series, always having the little twist at the end to throw you off. I didn't expect this book in particular to make me feel as many emotions as it did, but well...wow. Did not see that ending coming. The characters were well done, the plot was well done (even though I didn't understand half of their plan), overall great book.
Can't wait to read Rebel (fingers crossed that the plot twist wasn't the end of you know)

I’ve loved this series and all, but this book in particular was not too great. It didn’t seem like it was all headed in the same direction. The ending made me want to die :l (spoilers tab is emotional lmao)
The only good plot piece of this book was when you found out June was the second Patient 0. HE FREAKING FORGOT HER?!?! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER FOR HIM TO JUST DIE OF HIS WOUNDS. THIS ENDING WAS ATROCIOUS. MUST READ THE FOURTH AND FINAL BOOK SIMPLY FOR PEACE OF MIND
