This was actually offensive to The Great Gatsby 😵‍💫🙂‍↔️

I genuinely hated everyone and the ending was SO BAD. In The Great Gatsby, yes the characters can be unlikeable and make poor decisions, but you’re still rooting for them. The people in this book…. so annoying and boring, except for Taylor.

This wasn’t a long read but felt like it took me forever to get through. The only good thing about this book are the vivid descriptions of Block Island. It definitely made me want to visit and felt like I could picture it perfectly in my head.
