Billed as 10 Rules to Fuel Your Life, Work and Team with Positive Energy, this is a quick and easy book that is well worth the reader's time. My physical therapist recommended this book to me as I was recovering from a stress induced injury. The book is allegorical and introduces the "10 Rules" through a story about a guy who is totally stressed out and unhappy. His career, marriage and family are in shambles, but in two short weeks he transforms his life with ten simple rules given to him by Joy, the driver of the "Energy Bus" and her enthusiastic, happy, relaxed and worry-free passengers. Sounds a bit hokey - or maybe a lot hokey - and it is - but there were many things in this book that really spoke to me and my current life situation. Reading this book hasn't solved all of my problems, and I still worry and get stressed out, but what the book has done is give me simple strategies for keeping my attitude much more positive. As the book points out, people who are positive are happier, more productive, and more successful in careers, relationships and almost every aspect of life. That alone made this book worth reading and worth referring back to when I need an extra boost of positive energy.

it was for a project for my english class. this book is pretty straightforward so i can assume how it’s going to end and didn’t feel the need or desire to finish it.

PHYSICAL BOOK.

I previously listened to part of this audiobook a few years ago. The book is great! I love the 'rules' for running for life. No energy vampires is my favorite. Better for someone who manages a small team, but still good life principles.

This is so poorly written that I couldn’t even make it through the 3 hour audiobook. I would have powered through, but the ideas were not new or novel. Would NOT recommend this book to anyone.

Actually the worst book I've ever read in my life. I wasn't expecting a lot and it was somehow worse than that. The plot is flimsy and filled with holes, the characters are flat and lifeless stereotypes, and the grammatical errors are so frequent I'm not even sure this book was proofread before publishing. Why make your cultish manifesto into a fiction story if you're not going to put any effort into the story whatsoever.
Would have DNF if I didn't have to read it for work.
