A complex and engaging story with a cute, easily distracted scientist from another dimension and a down-to-earth military medic. It has a touch of insta-love but not enough to irritate me. They were adorable together.
Really cute, sweet, and fun. The only issues I had were the instalove (but that could be slightly allowed for since it's a short) and the lack of a finally completely coherent working world model. I understand that at first it needed to be confusing, but it would have been nice to clear up a few more questions.

Not badly written and fun in places, but the amount of sci-fi made-up research/science terms clogged my mind to the point where I had to make an effort to literally read between the lines to follow the actual story.
A lot of science/techno babble that a little frenetic but under that is a really cute story about two halves of a whole meeting and falling in love. I really like the MCs and Gramps. Cat is pretty great too. The plot is interesting if a little hard to follow, but that just could be me.
