Still solid, but just not as good as the first two.... maybe if I hadn't had my expectations set so high by #1 and #2, I might have stretched to a 5 star here. Very much worth the read.

Amazing. I love biology, so all the research that was clearly put into this book was endlessly fascinating to me. The story is imaginative, intriguing and suspenseful and I love Theo as the protagonist (I have a bit of a nerd crush on him). Even the cliffhanger was good, which is something you'd never hear me say because usually I dislike the very concept of cliffhangers. Can't wait for the next book.

I am really enjoying this series. The only weakness, which is kind of aggravating, is that Cray makes connections seemingly out of nowhere. He goes into his "fugue state" when he is following a train of thought, and then suddenly he knows where to look for the...thing, but we don't know how he got there. It's a minor complaint, but I hope Mayne is more fastidious in the next installment.

There's no need for me to review this. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, and if I need to refresh my memory, there's plenty other reviews to help me with that. I will state with awe that in this installment Andrew Mayne denied his imagination nothing!! What Theo Cray does in this novel is so over-the-top as to be unthinkable, unless you're Andrew Mayne.

A bit preposterous, even more than the rest of the series, but certainly enjoyable.

Another wonderful read. Dr. Theo Cray is quite the computational biologist and serial-killer hunter. The writing is excellent and the story line is really, really scary because it could so easily be true.
