This book is described as The Breakfast Club but with a murder. Honestly, they had me at Breakfast Club. This debut novel was so well done that I had to double check that it was actually a debut. I loved the twists and turns, how information is slowly revealed throughout, and how no one is really what they seem. I'm also a big fan of books that mess with your head, and this one totally does that. It is so good.

From the moment I heard of this book, I knew it was going to be good but I was nervous. It was hyped up a bit and I was questioning whether to read it. I actually saw it the first time and started it just to give up on it after a few page. But few weeks or days ago, I convinced myself to read it again.. I was curious about the ending. As I started reading it, this time, I was hooked. I couldn't put the book down for one second. It was that good!! I eventually guessed the ending and I was beyond shocked and surprised with the ending. Even though, I kinda guessed it toward the end, I didn't expect it. It was one of those things you question but you felt couldn't be.. anyways, I give this book a 5 star!! One of my current favorite books!! Amazing writing skilled though the beginning did seem a bit slow to me which is why I gave up the first time. It was completely worth the read! I'm now a fan for sure!

Interesting read, although I'm a bit dissapointed that neither one of the MCs turn out to be the killer. I was expecting to be mind-blown if the killer did turned out to be one of them, and how I'll have to reread to discover the clues to who's lying like the title claimed. Still, an interesting and unexpected plot twist.

I still don't understand why Mr Avery was not considered as a suspect by the police though.

Ok this started out with me thinking it was going to be lame and feel extremely high school. it was very high school but that wasn’t a bad thing. It was cheesy and fun but I enjoyed it ok
