The ending was really cute, felt like i was in high school again and didn’t except some of the plot twist, I wasn’t as interested in certain characters but the character development made me grow to love them, I guess I have to go buy the second one now lol.

One of us is lying by Karen McManus is a mystery thriller. Five students come into detention but only four come out alive. All of them seem to have been set up to attend detention. With the teacher having left the room right before the victim dies, it seems that one of the four remaining students is the killer.

Fast enjoyable read, everyone loves a good who done it storyline. Though a lot of it was predictable which is why I gave it only 4 stars. But I loved how Addy found herself and the Nate/Bronywn story was adorable.

I didn’t love the twist it was kinda lame after all the build up. I also didn’t really care all that much about the romance that was happening.

I LOVED IT!! it was such a good book SPOILER: i really loved the romance going on between Bronwyn and Nate! It added to what I already liked about the novel, the murder mystery aspect. I also loved the multi- point of view of the different main 4 characters and diving into their lives more. Good book for YA! 10/10 would recommend. I only gave it 4 stars though because I wouldn’t read the second one. I feel like it ended fine... tbh

This definitely gives Pretty Little Liars vibes, but I almost wish there would be more intense scary spots. They are few and far between at the beginning and could have caught my attention earlier.

Still going to continue the series though, and still 5 stars!
