I love this author’s concepts and ideas of her stories, such as the one for this book. I find myself wishing they were executed a little better, however. This concept for Parable of the Sower is giving a forewarning of how the world can become destructive when necessities run out and what’s left is chaos, violence, and drugs. The author encourages us to be prepared and to have a plan. The book also gives a different approach about religion. I would recommend this book, although I deducted points due to its slow pace, no climax, and repetitiveness. To think that this book was written decades ago and the things spoken about are unraveling today is astonishing. 3.5 rating
